The Process is Simple

Because our Beefalo are grassfed, the very best time to harvest them is June and July when they are gaining weight daily.  Our goals are to offer steers that have been treated ethically and fed naturally, and to provide healthy meat that tastes delicious.  We raise them as organically as possible.

We have our processing dates scheduled for our steers through the next two summers. We offer our steers by the whole steer, half steer and quarter steer, with the quarter being half of a half so that you get every cut of meat. All Beefalo meat is aged and vacuum sealed to keep the meats fresher and also allows for quicker defrosting.  Prices per pound are based on the hanging weight and INCLUDES the slaughter fee, all processing fees and delivery of meat.  You will be able to speak with the butcher and chose the cuts of meat you prefer and we provide guides to help you be prepared.

The steers offered will be available for delivery approximately 10 days after slaughter date.  A meeting time and location for meat delivery will be determined once deposit is received or you may pick up directly from the food locker.  We have steers throughout 2021, 2022 and beyond.  We almost always have freezer meat for you to purchase at our farm store or delivery.
